Delordinaire observes, explores and creates places inspired by relationships between people and their interaction with the natural environment.
Our work is born from the humble observation and experience of “ordinary” events ; rituals and practices, acts of creativity arising from everyday things and situations.
Australian-born Adrian Hunfalvay and French Erwan Lêveque co-founded and developed the Paris design studio, Ciguë for 12 years. They were awarded the Young French Architects award (NAJAP) in 2012. In 2016 they partnered with Canadian-born Jean Philippe Parent to form Delordinaire. Jean Philippe has worked for over a decade with world renowned architectural practices in Canada, Switzerland and France.
In 2018, the practice was recognised as one of 15 emerging international architecture practices by Wallpaper* and nominated for Frame magazine’s emerging architect of the year.
Delordinaire is active in urban planning, architecture, interior design, art installations and furniture design.
